In response to the new challenges young people face worldwide, the 2019 BRAVE NEW MEDIA FORUM opened discussions on how to talk about “serious” topics in children’s programs and how to deal with brain drain. 

Youngsters in the mirror of media became a traditional segment of the event introducing the latest findings on how traditional media perceive and report about children and youth. What should be done to protect the rights of minors, but also what young people expect from politicians and institutions, were some of the questions BNMF tried to answer. 

As always, new platforms and best-practice experiences were introduced to the participants who followed the two-day conference on November 15-16, 2019, this time, at Belgrade’s Children’s Cultural Center (DKC).
