Shape the future of media, now!

In the ever-evolving media landscape, the Brave New Media Forum introduces a new vital side event – Innovation Days, a rendezvous of technology, ethics, and innovation, taking place at the historic Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade, Serbia, November 17-18. Organized by the DW Akademie, this event is a gateway to explore the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the vibrant energy of Generation Z in the newsroom.

Innovation Days is a canvas where the ethical implications of AI in journalism are vividly painted. Participants will explore the challenges and responsibilities that come with integrating AI technologies into content curation and decision-making processes. The event will emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability and explore the balance between preserving journalistic values and effectively harnessing the power of AI.

The spotlight will also shine on the dynamic Gen Z, as the event explores the art of engaging new and younger audiences. Discussions on successful strategies and best practices aim to understand and appeal to the preferences of this digitally native generation. Deep dive sessions will take a closer look at innovative platforms such as TikTok and their potential role in the distribution of hard news.

However, Innovation Days is more than just discussions and sessions. It is a special platform that brings together media professionals from across the world. It’s an opportunity to learn, share and be inspired by innovative projects and ideas that are shaping the future of the media industry. Co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the event is a tribute to the collaborative spirit that drives progress in media.

As we navigate the ethical considerations of AI, combat disinformation, and engage with the vibrant Gen Z, Innovation Days promises to be a cornerstone event, enriching the dialogue with diverse insights and experiences. This is where the future of media is being shaped, and it’s happening now!

Join us for this enriching experience and be part of the discourse that’s shaping the media today!
