ZDF Editor, Germany
Markus Mörchen is deputy editor-in-chief of “Tagesmagazine Mainz” within the news department of German public broadcaster ZDF. He is responsible for the development of several new formats for streaming media, YouTube and social media. He has won several awards, eg. the most important German TV award “Deutscher Fernsehpreis” for the best information program. For many years he was senior editor of “logo!”, the only daily children´s news program in Germany. Markus is a contributor to a workbook on media studies and is also working as a lecturer at seminars for journalists and teachers.
Goran Igic is a multifaceted media professional from Skopje, North Macedonia. His journey in the industry began as a journalist for the university newspaper “Studentski Zbor”. He later ventured into the realm of private newspapers, notably contributing to the esteemed publication “Dnevnik.” In 2006, Goran co-founded Vidi Vaka, a digital media outlet that quickly gained recognition for its exceptional storytelling capabilities. Vidi Vaka’s production of short informative videos became synonymous with its brand, establishing this outlet as a well-known and respected multimedia outlet.
DW Akademie Media Consultant
Innovation Sparks Host is a content creator and supervising editor with 30+ years of experience, currently engaged as an audience engagement and development specialist, supporting DW’s editorial team. In the past ten years, he has also worked as a digital media consultant with DW Akademie in Europe, Asia, and Africa, mainly focusing on digital storytelling, news production, gathering, and fact-checking, but also content production for children and youth.
